La Porte Independent School District will be reviewing and selecting new instructional materials for Advanced 5th Grade and 6th-8th Grade Math. These materials will be adopted for use beginning in the 2025-26 school year.

An Instructional Materials Hearing, featuring vendor presentations, is open to the public for those who wish to attend. The hearing will take place at the Instructional Technology Center on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Welcome to the La Porte ISD Early Childhood Center! We are located within Heritage Elementary serving families who are employed by LPISD as well as the community zoned to LPISD schools. At the ECC, we strive to support each students’ growth and development in a fun learning environment through discovery, play, and continuous engagement and interactions. Our staff encourages curiosity and helps build a love of learning. Our top priority is the health and safety of our students and staff. Being located within an elementary school brings additional safety measures you cannot get somewhere else. Our staff is well trained in first aid and CPR, Safe Sleep, and a variety of health practices and emergencies. Our facility regularly participates in safety drills and inspections to help ensure your child is safe. The ECC open year-round, following the LPISD calendar and holidays.
